Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage cleaning teams (14–30 staff, including 2–6 Team Leaders) to ensure high standards of cleanliness across all assigned areas.
  • Monitor daily cleaning operations, quality, performance, and compliance with approved cleaning standards and procedures.
  • Organize staff shifts, duty rosters, overtime, and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
  • Train, guide, and motivate cleaning staff to improve performance and service quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of offices, departments, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with BICS standards, health & safety regulations, and housekeeping operational manuals.
  • Handle customer complaints, special cleaning requests, and participate in major cleaning projects when required.
  • Monitor, request, and control cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment to minimize waste and ensure availability of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Prepare and submit daily and weekly operational reports to line management.
  • Generate and close service tickets using Maximo or CAFM systems.
  • Maintain housekeeping equipment registers and coordinate repairs with the Hard Services Department.
  • Promote a safe working environment, staff welfare, proper grooming, hygiene, and professional appearance of the cleaning team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Saudi National (mandatory requirement).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Hospitality Diploma preferred).
  • BICS Certification or equivalent (required).
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in cleaning or related services, including supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, color coding, green cleaning products, and safety practices.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate large teams.
  • Good communication skills with basic English reading and writing ability.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using cleaning and janitorial equipment.
  • Familiarity with Maximo or CAFM systems is an advantage.
  • HACCP, COSHH, IOSH training or certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
