Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Substation Design Engineer to handle end-to-end design of high-voltage substations. The role involves preparing layouts, specifications, and technical studies, ensuring compliance with international standards and supporting execution teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed designs for AIS/GIS substations (up to 765kV or applicable).
Develop layouts for equipment, grounding, bus bars, and protection/control systems.
Conduct load flow, fault level, and protection coordination studies.
Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with IEEE/IEC standards.
Support procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
Requirements:
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
515 years substation design experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or equivalent tools.
Strong knowledge of IEC/IEEE/ANSI standards.
