Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the specifications and requirements for steel fabrication projects.
  • Select appropriate materials and tools to ensure structural integrity and adherence to safety standards during fabrication.
  • Operate advanced machinery such as plasma cutters, welding machines, and shears with precision to produce high-quality steel components.
  • Assemble fabricated steel pieces using various joining techniques including welding, bolting, and riveting, ensuring structural stability.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is essential; a degree in structural engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in structural steel fabrication in a commercial or industrial setting is required.
  • Certification in welding (AWS or equivalent) is highly desirable to ensure competence in various welding techniques.
  • Strong understanding of structural design principles and experience with CAD software to facilitate technical drawing interpretation.
