STRUCTURAL ENGINEER Duncan & Ross

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop structural design calculations and detailed engineering for both concrete and steel structures in accordance with project requirements and international codes.
• Prepare and review designs for:
• Equipment Foundations (Static/Dynamic)
• Tabletop Compressor Foundations (including Dynamic Analysis)
• Shelters with EOT Cranes
• Pipe Racks, Pipe Bridges, Pipe Sleepers, Pipe Supports
• Valve Supports, Steel Platforms, Crossovers
• Vertical/Horizontal Vessel Platform Design, Vessel Pits, Anchor Blocks
• Concrete Buildings such as Substations
• RCC Culverts, Impact Walls, and other industrial structures
• Conduct adequacy checks and structural assessments for existing infrastructure.
• Perform vendor document reviews, interdisciplinary coordination, and input reviews to ensure design integration across engineering disciplines.
• Review and verify engineering deliverables prepared by junior engineers and designers.
• Develop Design Basis Memoranda (DBM), technical specifications, and scope of work documents for geotechnical and topographical surveys.
• Ensure all designs are compliant with international codes and standards (American, British) and oil & gas industry best practices.
• Apply expertise in precast foundation design, including lifting analysis and structural integrity checks.
• Actively participate in project reviews, constructability assessments, and technical discussions with clients and contractors.
