Role Summary
The Structural Engineer Dubai, UAE will join Parsons Corporation s construction supervision team to oversee the delivery of bridges, reservoirs, substations, pump stations, and utility-related structures. This role involves supervising contractors, reviewing designs and shop drawings, monitoring inspectors, and ensuring compliance with authority standards, project specifications, safety, and quality requirements.

What You ll Do

* Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising construction of bridges, reservoirs, substations, pumping stations, culverts, and related structures
* Review shop drawings, method statements, technical proposals, and related correspondence
* Coordinate with Parsons design teams for technical issue resolution and approvals
* Oversee daily construction activities, monitor inspectors and surveyors, and ensure progress aligns with schedules
* Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, project specifications, and safety standards
* Prepare and review weekly and monthly progress reports for submission to the Resident Engineer
* Conduct site meetings with contractors, subcontractors, and service authorities to address technical or schedule concerns
* Ensure accuracy of records, as-built drawings, and project documentation for handover
* Promote health and safety on-site, ensuring goals are achieved and incidents prevented
* Support in resolving resource allocation, technical clarifications, and contractor coordination issues

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Minimum 12 years of experience in structural design and construction supervision for bridges, substations, reservoirs, pump stations, and related infrastructure
* Strong knowledge of UAE authority standards and construction regulations
* Proficiency in CAD and structural analysis software such as Midas Civil, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SP Column, Bentley RAM, Prokon, Revit, and Navisworks
* Strong leadership ability to guide inspectors and mentor junior engineers
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to work under pressure
