Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed structural designs for steel structures, ensuring compliance with industry codes and project specifications.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation for steel fabrication and erection.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver integrated solutions that meet client requirements.
- Conduct structural analysis using advanced software tools to validate design integrity and safety.
- Assist in the modification and optimization of existing steel structures to enhance performance and durability.
- Support the preparation of material take-offs, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure design implementation aligns with quality and safety standards.
- Address technical queries from fabrication and construction teams, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, standards, and best practices in steel structure engineering.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing design efficiency and project delivery.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 0 2 years of experience in structural design, preferably with a focus on steel structures.
- Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards (e.g., AISC, Eurocode, BS).
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or Tekla Structures.
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to work on-site as required and adapt to dynamic project needs.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
