Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of required materials.
  • Issue materials and equipment to internal departments based on approved requests and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs and/or inventory management systems.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with recorded data.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of sensitive or high-value items.
  • Prepare and submit inventory reports, stock movement logs, and other documentation as required.
  • Implement and enforce safety, security, and cleanliness standards within the store or warehouse area.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Commerce or any relevant field.
  • 2-7 years of proven experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse management.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel).
  • Previous experience in ERP is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work on projects located on remote sites.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling inventory and documentation.
