Job Summary:

The Store Controller / Storekeeper is responsible for managing and overseeing the storage and inventory of materials, tools, and supplies. The role ensures that stock is accurately recorded, stored securely, and issued in a timely manner to support the company s operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and materials.
• Record all stock movements (receipts, issues, returns) accurately in inventory systems or manual logs.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of items based on type, expiry date, or category.
• Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and notify purchasing for reorders.
• Conduct regular and periodic physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store/warehouse area.
• Monitor stock for damage, expiry, or obsolescence and report accordingly.
• Prepare reports on inventory levels, slow-moving items, and material consumption.
• Comply with safety regulations and ensure safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams for stock-related matters.
