Stock Control Specialist

To ensure accurate inventory management, maintain stock integrity, and support warehouse operations by conducting regular stock checks, investigating discrepancies, and coordinating with different teams for proper inventory flow and storage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Accuracy

Monitor stock levels and ensure they match system records.

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.

2. Stock Movement Control

Track inbound and outbound goods

Ensure correct scanning of items and proper location assignment.

Validate the accuracy of pick lists, transfers, and stock adjustments.

3. Data Entry & Reporting

Update ERP or WMS systems with real-time stock data.

Generate stock reports and analyze trends or losses.

Assist in preparing inventory audits and reconciliation reports.


4. Coordination

Communicate with warehouse supervisors, pickers, and loaders to maintain order accuracy

Liaise with purchasing and sales departments on stock availability and delivery timelines.

Collaborate with QA for damaged or expired items.

6. Loss Prevention

Identify potential areas of stock loss or misuse.

Report irregularities such as fake movements, shrinkage, or theft.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or technical degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field.

Minimum 2 years experience in warehouse or stock control.

Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems (e.g., WMS/ERP).

Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
