Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Clean and store crockery, pots, and glassware accordingly. • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas, including ovens, stovetops, floors, and ceilings. • Use, handle, and store cleaning chemicals correctly. • Remove and dispose of kitchen garbage. • Perform duties assigned by the Steward Team Leader and Supervisor. • Interact professionally and positively with department and company employees, management, and contractors. • Attend departmental and interdepartmental meetings and share relevant information. • Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communication. • Adhere to company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Remain well-mannered, well-groomed, and hygienic at all times, in accordance with department and company standards. • Follow health and safety standards and strive for continuous improvement to prevent health and injury hazards. • Participate in the company recycling program and maintain strict discipline to reduce, reuse, and recycle wherever possible.

Desired Candidate Profile

• The minimum educational qualification required is completion of secondary school; higher academic credentials are considered an asset. • Due to gaming operations and associated regulatory requirements, the minimum age for employment is 21 years. • No prior experience required; however, a minimum of 1 year of experience in the 5-star hotel industry or integrated resort is preferred. • Knowledge of the correct use, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals. • Positive attitude and strong work ethic. • Physically fit and capable of cleaning high areas, large equipment, and heavy lifting. • Good interpersonal skills. • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Flexible with work schedules and able to work in shifts based on business needs. • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
