Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Every day is different at IHG, but you ll mostly be:
- Washing, sanitizing, and properly storing kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dishwashing, and back-of-house areas.
- Assisting with garbage disposal, recycling, and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
- Supporting chefs by providing clean and ready equipment during service.
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and chemicals are used safely and stored properly.
- Assisting in receiving and organizing deliveries as needed.
- Reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly to the Stewarding Supervisor/Manager.
- Supporting banquet setups and breakdowns by handling equipment and supplies.

Desired Candidate Profile
What we need from you:
- Bachelor s degree or diploma in Hospitality or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in kitchen stewarding or cleaning in a hotel or restaurant preferred.
- Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Physical ability to handle standing, lifting, and carrying tasks for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
