Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitise all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using both commercial dishwashers and manual cleaning as required. Monitor the cleanliness of the dish washing and kitchen areas throughout your shift, ensuring all surfaces, sinks and floors are kept clean, tidy and free of hazards. Organise clean crockery, cutlery and equipment safely for drying and storage, restocking items for seamless kitchen operations. Assist with basic kitchen cleaning duties, such as emptying bins, wiping down surfaces, and supporting the wider culinary team as necessary. Adhere to all food hygiene, safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with company procedures. Report any breakages, maintenance issues, or shortages of cleaning materials promptly to the kitchen supervisor or chef on duty. Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen culture, treating all colleagues with respect and maintaining professionalism at all times.
