Roles & Responsibilities
- Expertly fuse steel components using various welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW), ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications and project requirements with precision.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and aligning components for optimal weld quality and seamless joints.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, showcasing a foundational level of education.
- Holds a valid welding certification from a recognized institution, demonstrating proven proficiency.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in steel welding, preferably within a construction or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of welding processes, including SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW.
