Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the stationery retail store to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Lead, train, and motivate store staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Manage inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and ensure accurate product displays.
  • Implement merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and drive sales growth.
  • Monitor store performance metrics, analyze sales reports, and develop action plans for improvement.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to manage orders, deliveries, and product quality.
  • Prepare and manage store budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Organize promotional events and in-store activities to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years and up to 7 years of experience in retail management, preferably in stationery or office supplies.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing retail teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and customer interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Experience in inventory management and stock control processes.
  • Proficiency in using retail management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
