Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Plan and direct operational activities to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery from all operational departments.

Monitoring and reporting on operational performance and service delivery, taking action to correct any shortfalls

Liaising with airline Management, airport operations management, handling agents, customs, immigration, and security officials, union officials, and other airport stakeholders.

Leading, developing, coaching and motivating managers to develop and utilise their skills.

Promote and actively encourage just culture.

Desired Candidate Profile

At least 5 years operational management experience.

Experience and knowledge of aviation services, GSE, ramp handling and operations.

Excellent leadership and people management skills

Strong communications skills and experience in liaising with senior airline, airport, and other stakeholder personnel.

Able to work with a multi-national work force, and to adjust to the local conditions of the station.
