Key Responsibilities
- Maintain effective communication with the client, authorities, and all project stakeholders
- Coordinate construction activities with multiple contractors and maintain detailed coordination records
- Support contractors in obtaining all required construction NOCs, permits, and authority approvals
- Liaise with relevant authorities to track, follow up, and expedite NOC applications
- Proactively manage approval requirements to avoid construction delays
- Review NOC conditions and ensure contractor compliance with all authority requirements
- Act as the main point of contact for public and stakeholder inquiries related to construction activities
- Engage with local communities to communicate project timelines, impacts, and progress
- Handle and resolve public or stakeholder complaints professionally and efficiently
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with government authorities, utility providers, and community representatives
- Lead coordination meetings related to handover requirements with contractors and authorities
- Monitor and follow up on handover documentation including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, GIS drawings, and authority submissions
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering, or a construction-related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure construction and stakeholder management
- Proven experience working on large infrastructure projects within the UAE
- Strong understanding of construction processes, authority requirements, and regulatory procedures
- Ability to lead coordination efforts across multiple contractors and stakeholders
Skills Set
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution abilities
- Solid knowledge of UAE authority approval and NOC processes
- Ability to manage documentation, coordination records, and handover requirements
- Familiarity with CAD and construction-related software is an advantage
- Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
