Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Adhere to strict deadlines and production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of fabricated kitchen equipment.
- Manage inventory of stainless steel materials and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels for production needs.
- Collaborate with other team members, including designers and engineers, to optimize fabrication processes and resolve issues.
- Maintain and operate fabrication equipment safely, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and protocols.
- Polish and finish stainless steel surfaces to achieve a high-quality, food-safe finish, meeting industry standards.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks, identifying and rectifying any defects or imperfections in the fabrication process.
- Assemble fabricated components into complete kitchen equipment units, paying close attention to alignment and fit.
- Execute welding operations (TIG, MIG) to join stainless steel parts, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
- Perform precise cutting, bending, and shaping of stainless steel using various machinery like shears, brakes, and rollers.
- Interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fabricate kitchen equipment components accurately.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is required to demonstrate a foundational level of education.
- Completion of a relevant vocational training program or apprenticeship in metal fabrication is beneficial.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in stainless steel fabrication, ideally within the kitchen equipment industry.
- Prior experience in a kitchen equipment manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of various welding processes, including TIG and MIG welding, is essential.
