Sr. Tendering Quantity Surveying Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer specialized in Quantity Surveying to join our tendering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quantity surveys for all project items, calculating direct costs, ensuring compliance with legal and quality standards, and providing guidance to junior engineers when required.

Responsibilities:

Conduct preliminary quantity studies for projects to identify conflicts and missing details in tender drawings, and coordinate with the study team to raise inquiries to the consultant.

Revise quantities based on actual data in tender drawings.

Compare quantities with the received Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for validation.

Update the BOQ by adding any missing items with corresponding quantity surveys.

Break down lump sum items into detailed elements to prepare the final quantity survey for each project element and submit it to the Pricing Department.

Prepare a list of all required qualifications to be submitted with the technical offer.

Supervise and mentor tendering QS engineers and junior engineers.
