Responsibilities and Duties

Analyze functional, business requirements of ABAP WRICEF objects and develop the solution.

Understand the business process and business context of business requirements, and recommend best practice solutions accordingly.

Develop the required DDIC objects, Classical reports, ALV reports, Interactive ALV, User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, new enhancement framework, BAPI s, RFC s, Module pool programming, BDC, adobe form and smart form.

Develop the required custom OData projects with CRUD operations. Also develop RFCs or BAPIs to convert it into ODATA services wherever applicable.

Expected to work in HANA Data Modelling Concepts, Custom code push down techniques, CDS and AMDP.

Expected to work in Web Services, SOAP, REST API, SOA Architecture

Expected to work in FIORI/UI5 applications using HTML, XML, Javascript

Expected to deliver object with high quality using best practices, readability, reusability and performance tuning.

Collaborate with a cross-functional and multi-location implementation team to ensure that work delivered meets business requirements and standards both functionally and technically.

Troubleshoot poor performance objects using Debugger & Performance Trace

Conform to development standards and conduct code reviews

Develop test plans to assure expected performance quality levels meet standards in development efforts. Perform unit testing, contribute to integration testing, and contribute to the design of end-user training

Consistent delivery of successful projects and positive outcomes

Develop the technical design documents and the technical specifications for the objects.

Qualifications

Min. 8+ years experience in ABAP Programming with experience in all RICEFW developments

Min. 5+ years experience in OO-ABAP

Min. 4+ years experience in HR-ABAP, ABAP on HANA, CDS, Gateway and OData (CRUD) custom development, standard extensions

Min. 3+ years experience in Web Services, SOAP, REST API, SOA Architecture

Should have work experience with basic functional modules

Should be expertise in coding techniques and using best practices. Extensive experience in ABAP debugging techniques, troubleshooting and Performance Tuning.

Min. a degree in Information technology or relevant stream.

Must be a positive attitude, light minded team player

The following are considered as advantages:

SAP ABAP Certification

Experience in FIORI/ UI5 custom development, standard extensions.

Experience with Webdybpro (with FPM) custom development, standard enhancements and MVC concepts

Experience with Workflow development, enhancement and trouble shooting Experience in PI Interfaces, proxies and data model

Experience with BPM or JAVA.

Upgrade projects experience Experience with modules Loan Management, Cash Management, BCM and Treasury, eTravel, HCM
