Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in the Water and Wastewater industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing site execution, supporting design and documentation processes, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, project management capabilities, and effective communication with clients and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Execution:
• Supervise and manage mechanical works at project sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Design & Documentation Support:
• Provide inputs for the preparation of shop drawings.
• Assist in the extraction and verification of Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Prepare and review material submittals and method statements.
• Project Planning & Coordination:
• Develop manpower schedules and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor progress to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Client & Consultant Interaction:
• Maintain clear and professional communication with stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on execution and planning.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Water and Wastewater industry.
• Proven experience in site execution and project coordination.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work independently and lead teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with local and international standards and codes.
