Job Description

The Senior Account Manager is pivotal in maintaining and expanding relationships with key clients. This role focuses on ensuring client satisfaction through strategic guidance, robust communication, and successful project management. The Senior Account Manager will collaborate extensively with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet and exceed client expectations, ensuring long-term growth and profitability. They are tasked with identifying client needs, orchestrating resources to deliver desired outcomes, and positioning new opportunities for account expansion. With a strong grasp on industry trends and competitive landscapes, the Senior Account Manager is expected to drive initiatives that support client goals while enhancing the company's market position.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and internal teams.
  • Identify and address client needs, providing strategic solutions and guidance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Monitor account metrics to ensure alignment with client expectations and company goals.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and work to position the company advantageously.
  • Manage contract negotiations and renewals to ensure mutual benefits.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to tailor solutions for clients.
  • Facilitate regular reviews and progress updates for clients on project status.
  • Prepare and present reports on account status and financial metrics to senior management.
  • Train and mentor junior account managers to provide high-quality customer service.
  • Stay informed about industry trends to anticipate client needs and industry changes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • At least five years of experience in account management or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple clients and large accounts effectively.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and account management principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for the role.
  • Proven experience in managing projects and leading account teams successfully.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
