Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces of vehicles for painting by sanding and priming as needed.
• Mix paints to achieve the desired color and consistency for application.
• Utilize various types of spray equipment to apply paints effectively.
• Examine finished surfaces to ensure quality and make necessary corrections.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Monitor paint and supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Perform routine maintenance on spray painting equipment to prolong service life.
• Attend training sessions to keep current with advancements in automotive painting.
• Provide feedback on equipment and process improvements for better efficiency.
• Document work processes and report any issues to supervisory staff promptly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in automotive painting preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a spray painter in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in color matching and mixing paint to specifications.
• Strong knowledge of spray painting techniques and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent attention to detail, capable of producing high-quality finishes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
• Can start immediately
