Sports Activities Manager German University in Cairo

Purpose: To oversee all sports activities inside and outside the campus.
Duties & Tasks:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive sports program that caters to the needs and interests of students, staff, and faculty.
Planning and organizing various sports events, tournaments, and competitions on campus.
Organizing internal tournaments (football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, athletics, chess, etc.)
Managing sports facilities, equipment, and resources to ensure they are well-maintained and available for use.
Recruiting, training, and supervising coaches, instructors, and staff members involved in sports activities.
Promoting and marketing sports programs to increase participation and engagement among the university community.
Collaborating with other departments, student organizations, and external partners to enhance the sports program.
Developing and managing budgets for sports activities, including sponsorship opportunities.
Ensuring compliance with university policies, regulations, and safety standards in all sports-related activities.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of sports programs and making recommendations for improvements.
Providing support and guidance to student athletes, teams, and clubs to help them achieve their academic and athletic goals.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Recreation Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in sports management, event planning, or athletics administration.
Strong knowledge of sports rules, regulations, and trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and guide others.
Knowledge of budgeting and financial management.
Understanding of risk management and safety procedures in sports activities.
Certification in sports management or related fields may be advantageous.
