Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Sponsorship Manager (Global) is responsible for developing and implementing the overall Group sponsorship strategy, which aims to identify and negotiate strategic global partnerships that generate commercial and reputational value for the organisation, manage the contractual rights and benefits of the sponsorships, and deliver effective and impactful campaigns, activations and experiences that showcase the Energy for Life narrative and enhance the company brand image.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for evolving, managing and overseeing the portfolio of Global sponsorship assets:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Global sponsorship strategy that aligns with the brand objectives and vision of the Company Group.
  • Optimise the value and return on investment (ROI) from the Global sponsorship portfolio by ensuring efficient and effective utilisation of resources and budget.
  • Manage the delivery of contractual rights and benefits of the sponsorships, including branding, exposure, hospitality, access, and recognition.
  • Leverage industry insights, market research, and stakeholder feedback to identify new and emerging opportunities for sponsorship and activation that support the brand goals and objectives.
  • Execute sponsorships in creative and engaging ways that resonate with the target audiences and communicate the key messages and values of the Energy for Life narrative.
  • Provide memorable and high-quality guest experiences for the internal and external stakeholders involved in the sponsorships, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Design, develop and implement best in class activations that amplify the impact and reach of the sponsorships, using innovative and cutting-edge methods and technologies.
  • Apply a robust evaluation framework for new and existing partnerships, using relevant metrics and indicators to measure and report on the performance and outcomes of the sponsorships and activations.
  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Desired Candidate Profile

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor s degree in Communications, Media, or equivalent.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in sponsorship management, preferably in the energy sector or a related industry.
  • Understanding of the international sponsorship industry and experience of working on global properties.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive and productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and convey the brand vision and narrative in a clear and compelling manner.
