Roles & Responsibilities
Specifications Engineer Construction Chemicals
We re looking for a Specifications Engineer to join our team in the construction chemicals. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain product specifications, ensure compliance with standards, and build strong technical relationships with consultants and testing centers.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with project managers and consulting offices.
Communicate with consultants to get the company approved in vendor lists and participate in their upcoming projects.
Develop and update technical specifications for construction chemical products and systems.
Coordinate with R&D, production, and QA teams to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.
Liaise with accredited research and testing centers to conduct product tests and verify compliance with local and international standards.
Support sales and marketing teams with technical data, presentations, and product guidance.
Evaluate raw materials and suppliers based on technical and performance criteria.
Stay up to date with market trends and integrate best practices into specification processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science.
3 5 years of experience in specifications or technical documentation (preferably in construction chemicals).
Strong knowledge of technical standards and compliance testing.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with consultants and institutions.
High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects.
