Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform gross and microscopic examination of surgical specimens, biopsies, cytology, and hematology samples.
• Interpret and sign out histopathology, cytopathology, hematology, and clinical pathology reports.
• Collaborate with treating physicians to provide diagnostic insights and guide patient management.
• Supervise and provide guidance to laboratory technologists and technicians.
• Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Participate in quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) programs to maintain high diagnostic standards.
• Review and validate laboratory test procedures and results.
• Keep updated with medical advancements, diagnostic technologies, and best practices in pathology.
• Participate in audits, accreditation processes, and compliance with Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) Qatar regulations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional ethics.
• Stay updated on advancements in pathology and integrate evidence-based practices into the role.
• Ensure compliance with QCHP and Ministry of Public Health regulations.
• Participates in the planning and follow up of the medical education and research activities.
