Advanced Metal Industries Co. (AMIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee and Cristal.

Tasnee, signed a joint venture agreement with Japan’s Toho Titanium Company in January 2014 to build the SAR 1.6 billion project. The titanium sponge project is the region’s first of its type to produce 15,600 tons of pure titanium. The company has sent 69 Saudi engineers to train for two years in Japan on producing pure titanium.

An exciting opportunity is available in AMICTOHO TITANIUM METAL Company for Specialist, QC Based in Yanbu.

About the role:

Analysis and inspection for final product (titanium sponge) and some materials (magnesium tetrachloride etc.) in process management. Report for analysis and inspection results on SAP system. Daily management for analysers, inspection machines and equipment. Education and guidance to technicians about analysis / inspection jobs (chemical analysis, operating inspection machine etc.). The leader of technicians in analysis / inspection group.

You will be responsible for:

• Lab work distribution and management.
• Understands lab equipment troubleshooting and management.
• Knowledge on how to use ICPs.
• Issuance of Certificates of Assurance.
• Proficiency in SAP for daily data uploading and validating.
• Knowledge and experience for operating machine (machining machine, melting machine.
• Skills for using computer to enter result data, or to run program for analyser.
• Knowledge of chemical reagents (acid, alkaline, solvent, metal etc.).
• Performing the operation while referring to the procedure manual.
• Report and consultation to superintendent.
• Skills for education and guidance about chemical analysis and operating machine.
• Leading technicians in analysis / inspection group.
• Creating reports about chemical analysis.
• Creating procedure documents about analysis / inspection process.

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or Equivalent.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Familiar within the Chemical sector or related industry preferred.
• Familiar with quality control analysis methods and understanding of using ICP.
• Fluency in English language with excellent communication (written & oral) skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
