Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with surgical conditions through physical examination, diagnostic tests, and medical history review.
  • Plan, perform, and manage general surgical procedures in accordance with hospital protocols and international best practices.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including monitoring patient recovery and managing complications.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and morbidity and mortality meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, reports, and documentation.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior doctors, interns, and residents.
  • Stay updated with the latest surgical techniques, innovations, and best practices through continuous medical education.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and ethical medical practices.
