The Spare Parts Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability and effective management of spare parts inventory to support operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

Job Description

• Develop and implement inventory management strategies for spare parts aligned with category.
• Create highly accurate product demand forecast.
• Analyze forecast and actual consumption history of spare parts demand accurately to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Develop, monitors and report (key performance indicator s) KPI S & Metrics monthly.
• Preparations of daily, weekly and monthly schedule s for delivering spare to service counters and inform relevant departments about delivery date / delay and potential issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operational teams to identify critical spare parts and prioritize inventory levels.
• Monitor stock levels and manage reordering processes to ensure optimal inventory without incurring excess costs.
• Evaluate supplier performance and relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of spare parts.
• Conduct regular audits of spare parts inventory to maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare reports on inventory status, turnover rates, and forecasting errors for management review.
• Collaborate closely with purchasing partners to ensure successful supply chain execution.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance spare parts planning processes.
• Develop, monitors and report (key performance indicator s) KPI S & Metrics monthly.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and suppliers to address issues related to spare parts procurement and availability.
• Formulate Business cases to support decision making for potential spare parts recovery.
