Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experienced in Project Data base creation and structure for multi disciplines.
  • Manage SP3D user accounts, permissions, and security settings etc.
    Integration of SP3D tools such as Navis Works, SACS, CAESER, Navisworks etc.
  • Ensure system backups are maintained within regular intervals.
  • Administer user access, licensing, Remote project setup and access, database management.
  • Maintain project data base such as catalogues, Line material specifications, client reference data etc.
  • Configure and install in user systems for SP3D, SPI, SPPID etc.
  • Experienced in different SEED Files and manage project setup.
  • Experienced in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Smart Sketch.
  • Interface with other softwars SPEl, SPI, SPPID are essential.
  • Ensure data integrity, backups, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Tool setup on Citrix for subcontractors and client.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines (e.g., piping, structural, electrical) to ensure seamless integration of 3D models for complex oil and gas assets.
  • Manage and configure SP3D software to ensure seamless integration with other engineering tools, optimizing workflows for design teams.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for engineering staff on SP3D functionalities, enhancing user proficiency and productivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SP3D-related technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Equipment, materials, and specifications, to reflect the latest industry standards and company requirements.
  • Implement data management strategies to ensure accurate and efficient data handling within SP3D, supporting project documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to define project specifications and requirements within the SP3D environment.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of SP3D processes and procedures for future reference and onboarding.
  • Facilitate communication between engineering teams and IT support to ensure that SP3D infrastructure meets user needs.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, providing a solid technical foundation.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in SP3D administration in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure sectors. Demonstrating deep expertise in SP3D administration and project management.
  • SP3D certification or equivalent training, showcasing specialized knowledge and commitment to professional development.
  • In-depth knowledge of SP3D modules (Piping, Equipment, Structure, Electrical, etc.).
  • Experience in the oil and gas, chemical, or power industries, offering insight into specific project requirements and challenges.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle/MS SQL) and Smartpant Foundation.
  • Proficiency in English, with additional language skills being a plus to facilitate communication in diverse teams.
  • Strong technical skills in database management and software configuration, ensuring the effective operation of SP3D applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, enabling quick and effective resolution of technical issues as they arise.
  • Experience with integration of SP3D with other engineering tools (e.g., SPPID, SPEL, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative environment and clear communication among team members.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in data management and system configurations to enhance project outcomes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
