Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain audio equipment, including mixing consoles, microphones, and recording devices, ensuring optimal sound quality for live events or studio recordings.
- Set up and configure sound systems, meticulously placing microphones and speakers to achieve balanced audio coverage and minimize feedback.
- Mix live sound during performances, expertly adjusting levels and effects in real-time to enhance the audience's listening experience.
- Record and edit audio tracks, using digital audio workstations (DAWs) to capture, manipulate, and refine sound recordings to perfection.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering or a related field is highly desirable.
- Holds relevant certifications, such as Pro Tools Certification or similar, demonstrating proficiency in industry-standard software and techniques.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in professional audio engineering, with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Experience in the Music industry is a plus, showcasing a deep understanding of music production and recording techniques.
