Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and engineering of solar PV systems, including layouts, sizing, simulations, and technical documentation.

  • Prepare and review SLDs, drawings, BOQs, and technical submissions to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Conduct technical reviews and compliance checks, ensuring alignment with KSA regulations, SEC requirements, and international standards (IEC/IEEE).

  • Support grid connection coordination and provide technical input where required.

  • Collaborate with project, procurement, and site teams to ensure designs are practical and constructible.

  • Provide technical support during execution, commissioning, and handover stages.

  • Contribute to building and improving engineering standards, templates, and best practices as part of developing the solar engineering function.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in solar PV system design (rooftop, C&I, or utility-scale).

  • Candidates should be currently residing in KSA preferably in Riyadh.

  • Arabic speaking candidates are preferred.

  • Proven experience using PVsyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD.

  • Experience with solar projects in KSA or GCC is an advantage.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills.

  • High attention to detail and design accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership.

  • Comfortable working in a build-from-scratch / growing team environment.

  • Strong documentation and coordination skills.
