Software Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Software Tester to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development and testing practices, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for consistently delivering high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other key stakeholders within the organization to ensure that all software products are tested thoroughly before release. Your work will contribute to enhancing user satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for excellence in software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts.
• Analyze test results and document issues identified during testing.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, replicate, and resolve software defects.
• Create detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide feedback on quality concerns.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure changes do not affect existing functionalities.
• Report and track software bugs through to resolution in a bug tracking system.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of testing methods and processes.
• Update documentation and user manuals to reflect tested functionalities.
• Review user feedback and report any unexpected application behavior.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve testing effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role in IT industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to find software defects efficiently.
• Familiarity with various testing techniques, test management, and bug tracking tools.
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Attention to detail with the capability to perform thorough and precise testing.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications in software testing such as ISTQB will be a plus.
