Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against established objectives.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, providing clear updates to stakeholders and ensuring alignment on project goals.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall as appropriate.
- Oversee resource allocation and workload balancing to optimize team performance.
- Track and report on key performance indicators, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing process enhancements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 8 years of experience in software project management or a related IT project leadership role.
- Demonstrated success managing full project lifecycles for complex software solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead remote and distributed teams effectively.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in risk management and issue resolution.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
