As a Python Engineer, you ll sit within a product team collaborating with Data Scientists, Analysts, Engineers, Product Owners, and Operations Managers to deliver the most value to our customers.What You ll Be DoingBuilding APIs, jobs and data pipelines, making sure they're properly designed and scaled according to business needsWriting event consumers to build new data models to provide this data to new flows and processesWhat You'll Need5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer3+ years of experience engineering with Python as your primary languageAn academic background in STEMFluency in Python, SQL, and other OOPLsExperience with API development and integrationA practical understanding of distributed systemsThe ability to write concurrent code in IO/CPU bound situationsExperience with Docker, K8s, Ansible, Teamcity, monitoring, and alertingNice to haveExperience with prototyping and sketchingMultiple side projects or open source contributions
