Software Development Team-Lead

The Software Development Team-Lead is responsible for leading a team of developers, define the strategy and direction of software projects, and ensure seamless integration across PIPECARE s ecosystem. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to guide the team in delivering high-quality, mission-critical software used for comprehensive pipeline inspection data analysis.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities

• Lead and mentor the software team, define roles, and track performance.
• Plan and manage projects to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals.
• Oversee design, development, and implementation of core software tools.
• Maintain architectural consistency, data integrity, and clear documentation.
• Define testing, release, and acceptance procedures.
• Support user training and smooth software deployment.
• Report progress, risks, and improvement opportunities to management.

Skills/Experience

• Bachelor s /master s degree in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering ,or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in team leadership or management roles.
• Strong background in C# / .NET and software architecture principles.
• Proven experience in delivering complex engineering or AI/ML-based software projects.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, VSC, and CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and manage diverse technical requirements

Good to have

• Experience with Data Science frameworks.
• Familiarity with high-performance computing.
• Understanding of ILI/NDT technologies or engineering signal/data processing.
• Experience working in cross-functional and international teams.
