Roles & Responsibilities

Position Overview

BlackStone eIT is on the lookout for a talented Software Development Manager to join our growing Smart Solutions department. This pivotal role involves leading our software development teams through the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that our technology solutions are delivered on time and to the highest standards. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with exemplary leadership skills, motivating teams to innovate and achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor multiple agile development teams, fostering an environment that promotes collaboration, creativity, and growth.

Define team goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with company strategy and delivering value to stakeholders.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Project Management:

Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from planning through to deployment and maintenance.

Work in tandem with product managers and stakeholders to define project scopes and priorities.

Develop project timelines and manage resources effectively to meet deadlines.

Technical Oversight:

Ensure high quality and performance of software solutions through code reviews, testing, and adherence to industry best practices.

Guide architectural decisions and promote the adoption of new technologies that improve system efficiency and productivity.

Stay abreast of technological advancements to ensure the teams leverage state-of-the-art tools and practices.

Collaboration & Communication:

Foster a collaborative work environment, engaging with cross-functional teams to support product delivery.

Effectively communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders at all levels.

Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical language into accessible terms.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical Skills:

8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on agile methodologies.

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as .NET (C#) and experience with front-end frameworks like Angular.

Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure, along with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

Leadership:

Proven experience managing software development teams and promoting a culture of high performance.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to motivate diverse teams.

Effective problem-solving abilities with a focus on strategic vision and execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design.

Previous experience in a fast-paced technology-driven environment.

Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are advantageous.
