Roles & Responsibilities


Industry/sector: Oil&Gas / In Line Inspection services.
The Software Analyst is responsible for combining the strengths of a developer and a business analyst. You will bridge the gap between operational requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that our software solutions precisely meet user needs, follow standardized workflows, and integrate seamlessly with AI and data analysis systems. This role involves both analyzing workflows and building software features that make our inspection processes more efficient and intelligent.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities
  • Gather and analyze requirements from end users and domain experts to define software functionality
  • Translate business needs into structured functional and technical specifications.
  • Design workflow diagrams, use cases, and UI/UX mockups for new features.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and propose practical software solutions.
  • Define and verify acceptance criteria; ensure features meet functional expectations.
  • Support users and analysts in adopting new features and workflows.
  • Develop, test, and maintain desktop applications for pipeline data processing.
Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop software development.
  • Strong understanding of C#/.NET, OOP, and software design principles.
  • Experience in workflow analysis or engineering/scientific applications.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design, and its optimization.
  • Experience using Git, CI/CD, and task tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication and analytical thinking skills.
Good to have
  • Knowledge of WPF and MVVM for internal desktop tools.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML or data-driven decision systems
  • Ensure high performance, reliability, and integration within existing tools.
  • Maintain clear and complete technical, code, and user documentation.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
  • Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
  • Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
  • Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
  • Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
