Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary We are looking for a creative and pet-loving Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our doggy kennel’s online presence. The role focuses on creating engaging content, increasing brand visibility, generating leads, and building a loyal pet-parent community across social media platforms. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Management Plan, create, and publish daily content (photos, videos, reels, stories) featuring dogs, activities, grooming, boarding, and happy customers Write engaging captions, hashtags, and CTAs tailored to pet parents Ensure all content reflects the brand’s tone, values, and quality standards Coordinate photo/video shoots at the kennel Social Media Platforms Manage accounts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Schedule posts using tools like Meta Business Suite or similar Monitor trends and viral formats in the pet industry and adapt content accordingly Community Engagement Respond promptly to comments, DMs, and inquiries Engage with followers, pet influencers, and local pet communities Handle basic customer queries and route leads to the sales/operations team Growth & Lead Generation Grow followers organically and through collaborations Run and optimize paid social media ads (optional but preferred) Promote offers, packages, seasonal campaigns, and events Track leads generated through social media Analytics & Reporting Monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers, leads) Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports Suggest improvements based on data insights Collaboration Coordinate with kennel staff to capture daily moments and updates Work with influencers, pet bloggers, and brand partners when required Quick learner and trend-focused Comfortable interacting with customers and pets on-site Working Conditions On-site presence required for content creation Flexible working hours based on content needs and events Weekend availability preferred (high engagement days) KPIs (Performance Indicators) Monthly follower growth Engagement rate Leads and inquiries generated Content consistency and quality
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Skills & Qualifications Mandatory Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist / Manager Strong knowledge of Instagram & Facebook marketing Excellent photo/video content sense (mobile content creation is a must) Basic graphic/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, InShot, etc.) Strong English communication skills Preferred Experience in pet industry, lifestyle, or hospitality brands Knowledge of Dubai/UAE social media trends Paid ads experience (Meta Ads Manager) Influencer marketing experience Personal Traits Genuine love for dogs and animals � Creative, energetic, and detail-oriented
