Social Media Specialist

Entity/Property: SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises | Corporate Office
Base Location: Cairo (On-Site)
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for supporting the development, execution, and daily management of social media activities across multiple resorts under the SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises portfolio. The role focuses on ensuring a consistent brand voice, driving engagement, and supporting broader marketing objectives across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day publishing of content across social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Support the rollout of social media calendars in alignment with campaign launches, promotions, and resort activities.
  • Coordinate with the Content Creator and Design teams to brief, receive, and publish assets on time.
  • Monitor page activity and community engagement, flagging feedback, comments, or escalations promptly.
  • Track content performance and compile basic monthly reports summarizing engagement, reach, and key insights.
  • Ensure all published content follows brand guidelines in tone, style, and visual presentation.
  • Assist in coordinating influencer collaborations and social media activations as needed.
  • Stay updated on platform updates, trends, and best practices to inform recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in social media management, preferably within the hospitality, travel, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific content styles, trends, and engagement mechanics.
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple content streams simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with basic social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Instagram Analytics).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Hospitality background is considered a strong advantage.
