Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives, ensuring brand consistency and voice across all platforms.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the clinic's brand, focusing on pet health and wellness.
- Create engaging content (images, videos, stories) showcasing pet care tips, clinic services, and heartwarming pet stories to resonate with pet owners.
- Manage and grow the clinic's social media presence across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), ensuring consistent brand messaging.
- Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, promptly responding to inquiries and managing online reputation.
- Analyze social media performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports and insights to optimize content and campaigns.
- Plan and execute targeted advertising campaigns to reach potential clients within the clinic's service area.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and staff to gather content ideas and ensure accuracy of information shared on social media.
- Organize and promote online contests, giveaways, and events to increase engagement and attract new followers.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to continuously improve the clinic's online presence.
- Manage the social media budget, ensuring cost-effective campaigns and a strong return on investment.
- Manage content calendars, plan and schedule engaging posts, and curate visually appealing content (images, videos, stories) to captivate target audiences.
- Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, respond to comments and messages promptly, and proactively engage with followers to build community.
- Analyze social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) using analytics tools, generate reports, and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, benchmark performance, and inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product) to align social media efforts with broader campaigns and initiatives.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, ad creation, targeting, and performance optimization.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure the brand remains relevant and competitive.
- Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers and partners to amplify brand reach and credibility.
- Oversee the social media budget, track expenses, and ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their respective audiences.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in social media marketing, preferably within the pet care or veterinary industry; industry experience is highly valued.
- Demonstrated proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and associated analytics tools; experience with multiple platforms is beneficial.
- Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, etc.) and experience running targeted campaigns.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of pet health and wellness; a passion for animals is a must.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative social media campaigns and content ideas.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to improve social media performance; a data-driven approach is crucial.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus; visual content creation skills are desirable.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.) to track, analyze, and report on performance.
- Experience with social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, etc.), including campaign setup, optimization, and budget management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker with a passion for social media and a keen eye for trends and emerging technologies.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
