Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
. Core Responsibilities:
Serve as the designated Site Safety and Health Officer, acting as a Competent Person (CP) for safety oversight.
Develop, implement, and enforce safety and health policies.
Conduct regular hazard analyses and safety audits.
Provide safety training and ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1 standards.
Maintain documented safety training (minimum 8 hours/year).
Coordinate with management and project teams to resolve safety issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 4 years of continuous experience in construction or industrial safety/health roles.
Safety or occupational health (SOH) certification accredited by ANSI or NCCA is required.
Ability to mobilize within 5 days upon Notice to Proceed (NTP).
Preferably local Iraqi nationals or OCN personnel currently in Iraq due to mobilization requirements.
