Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee mechanical installations, and commissioning activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within overall project timelines.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to guide site activities and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor the quality of mechanical works, conducting regular inspections and ensuring adherence to industry codes and company standards.
- Manage subcontractors and site personnel, providing technical guidance and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, proposing effective solutions to minimize delays and maintain project momentum.
- Ensure all mechanical site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in the procurement and verification of mechanical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and status updates to senior management and clients.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4 to 7 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering roles in construction.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple site activities simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of workplace safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to work full-time and on-site, adapting to dynamic project requirements.
- Experience in managing subcontractors and site personnel is highly desirable.
