About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Joinery Foreman to supervise and lead production and site installation activities. The role involves managing a team of carpenters and laborers, ensuring alignment with shop drawings, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring on-time delivery of joinery and fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily joinery production and ensure compliance with shop drawings and cutting lists.
• Lead carpenters and helpers in measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing tasks.
• Conduct quality checks to reduce defects and rework.
• Allocate tasks, monitor labor productivity, and provide on-the-job training.
• Monitor material usage, minimize waste, and ensure equipment readiness.
• Coordinate with site teams for measurements, installation, and project handovers.
• Enforce safety procedures, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure PPE usage at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma/Certification in Carpentry, Joinery, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery/fit-out, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking, veneer, finishing materials, and fit-out techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in workshop and site environments.
