Job Description:

Position Summary:We are looking for a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team. The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our interior fit-out projects, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications, and coordinating with the site supervisor and project team. The ideal candidate will bring experience in fit-out projects, specifically within retail, F&B, and office spaces, and have substantial Middle East project experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the technical aspects of on-site fit-out work for retail, restaurant, and office projects.
• · Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors on site.
• Review project specifications, construction drawings, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with the site supervisor and subcontractors to ensure timely project progress and resolve technical challenges as they arise.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with design standards.
• Prepare and maintain daily and weekly reports on project status, including site activity logs and technical documentation.
• Ensure efficient use of materials, minimizing waste and controlling project costs.
• Assist in planning project timelines and coordinate with procurement teams for material and equipment availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any site issues related to design, structural, or technical aspects of the project.
• Liaise with architects, designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Supervisor, specifically in interior fit-out contracting projects.
• Strong technical background in the construction of retail, restaurant, and office spaces.
• Prior experience working in the Middle East is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and project specifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, codes, and safety guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the fit-out contracting industry.
• Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
