Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Parsons is looking for an experienced Site Engineer (Road) to join our team! In this role, you will manage daily site operations related to road construction, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee all road construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the design and construction teams to ensure smooth execution of road works, such as grading, paving, drainage systems, and signage.
- Monitor work progress, identifying potential delays or issues and taking corrective actions to ensure the project remains on track.
- Conduct site inspections, ensuring that road works are completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with the approved design.
- Ensure proper documentation of all road works, including progress reports, safety reports, and quality control checks.
- Manage site safety, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety protocols and minimize risks associated with road works.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services required for road works.
- Assist with testing and commissioning, ensuring that road components meet the necessary quality and functionality standards before handover.

Desired Candidate Profile
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in road construction supervision, including at least 5 years in a site engineering role within a consulting environment on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience in managing road works such as grading, paving, drainage, and other infrastructure components.
- Strong understanding of road construction standards, codes, and regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- MME is required.

- Proactive problem-solving abilities and ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and guide a team.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple site activities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with international construction standards and local codes, particularly in the Middle East or GCC.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and other civil engineering design software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review and check designs for accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects at the same time.
