Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all on-site MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) activities to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
- Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and project documents to guide installation and execution.
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
- Monitor site progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, daily logs, and documentation of work performed.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring timely availability on-site.
- Facilitate site meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety policies throughout all phases of site operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP site engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, codes, and standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple site activities.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project documentation accurately.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using site management and engineering software tools.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards on-site.
- Flexibility to work on-site (on-premises) as required by project demands.
