Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage on-site civil works, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and approved drawings, meticulously inspecting all work.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely material delivery, resource allocation, and efficient workflow optimization.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify and promptly address any technical issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards, escalating as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily progress reports, including detailed records of manpower, equipment usage, and materials consumed.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications, providing clear instructions and guidance to the construction team, ensuring precise execution.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies, fostering a safe working environment.
- Monitor and control project costs, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing corrective actions to stay within budget.
- Manage and supervise site personnel, providing leadership, motivation, and training to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Assist in resolving site-related disputes, negotiating with stakeholders, and finding amicable solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Maintain detailed records of site activities, including photographs, documentation of variations, and communication logs for future reference and analysis.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required for a Construction Company:
- Holds Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a building contracting company in GCC.
- Professional in reading drawings and management of manpower on site.
- Fluent in English
- Holds U.A.E. Driving License
