Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Apply and promote the company's HSE policy and local regulations, ensuring safe work practices across CCR and field activities.
• Maintain and update the CCR HSE dossier, ensuring accurate documentation of operational risks, safety procedures, and compliance records.
• Conduct regular safety and plant integrity audits covering PTW compliance, equipment, lifting operations, scaffolding, and firefighting readiness.
• Conduct safety assessments to ensure compliance and minimize operational risks.
• Actively participate in plant emergency drills and responses, ensuring safety and operational continuity during critical situations.
• Actively monitor alarm systems and work closely with relevant departments to address and minimize frequent alarms, enhancing operational efficiency and safety.
• Identify, report and formally record incidents, accidents, or downgraded situations, proposing corrective actions to address root causes.
• Ensure timely implementation of testing programs for HSE-related equipment, including ESDVs, BDVs, SDVs, general alarms, and similar systems by CCR senior panel operators.
• Ensure all plant activities are covered by a well-prepared and effectively implemented Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Review and manage PTWs, providing input on risks, job scope, resources, and safety, ensuring proper close-out.
• Supervise maintenance contractors to ensure compliance with PTW, risk assessments, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate equipment preparation for maintenance, ensuring safe working conditions are established and maintained.
• Develop and implement isolation plans for equipment, ensuring proper lockout/tagout procedures are followed to guarantee safety during maintenance or shutdown activities.
• Supervise and coordinate the LNG plant operations, including CCR activities, process train, utilities, storage and marine terminal, ensuring efficient and safe functioning.
• Direct and guide CCR panel operators and the multiskilled field operators, ensuring proper delegation and coordination of maintenance and operational tasks.
• Offer technical guidance and support to senior panel operator during emergencies and process upsets to ensure safe and effective resolution.
• Ensure panel operators are informed of plant status and maintain effective communication with field operators during PTW processes.
• Monitor and adjust process controller set points, documenting deviations in weekly reports for the Production and Maintenance superintendent.
• Identifies deviations in process parameters at the earliest stage to minimize operational risks and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Identify and resolve operational problems, ensuring optimized production and troubleshooting issues in coordination with shift teams.
• Prepare detailed shift logs and reports, documenting anomalies, plant trips, accidents and operational inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with Muscat Integrated operations centre to review and update key production documents, including operating procedures, P&IDs, etc.
• Mentor and train multi skills field staff, providing development opportunities and assessing their performance.
• Represent management on night shifts, coordinating with operators, authorities, utility suppliers, and plant security.
• Maintain regular communication with pipeline shift operators to optimize feed gas supplies and manage plant emergencies.
• Suggest modifications to enhance equipment efficiency, operational procedures and overall plant performance.
• Maximize the use of digital tools to monitor production performance, streamline processes, and minimize non-value-adding activities.
