Operate and maintain STP equipment to ensure smooth and continuous operations.

Continuously monitor treatment processes and adjust equipment settings and operating parameters as needed.

Conduct routine inspections of plant systems, including pumps, gauges, pipelines, and filtration units.

Monitor and manage the use of chemicals, ensuring safe and effective application.

Perform necessary laboratory tests to verify that water quality meets required standards.

Ensure full compliance with all applicable environmental and public health regulations.

Monitor emissions and ensure they remain within legally permissible limits.

Prepare accurate and timely daily and monthly reports on plant performance and equipment maintenance.

Respond promptly to emergencies and equipment failures, and carry out necessary repairs.

Operate electrical and automated systems, including control panels and backup generators.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and enhance system reliability.

Coordinate with supervisors to report operational issues and suggest improvements to optimize performance.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong technical knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes.

Proficient in operating and monitoring technical systems and specialized equipment.

Skilled in diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs on plant equipment.

Solid understanding of chemical usage and handling in water treatment.

Excellent organizational skills for maintaining accurate maintenance records and reports.

Strict adherence to safety procedures, especially when handling hazardous materials or equipment.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Capable of making quick decisions and solving problems efficiently in emergency situations.
